Elizabeth Fraser - Artist Printmaker

Elizabeth works from a garden studio near Cambridge. She plays with text, pattern and image through handset letterpress, screen print and more recently lino-cutting. Making prints by hand is a slow process involving lots of thinking, proofing and tea drinking. By playing with the material visualisation of language she explores it's roll in the communication of place, memory and time.

Elizabeth has a BA (hons) Graphic Design and MA Printmaking and works part-time at Anglia Ruskin University. She exhibits nationally and internationally, most recently in USA, Germany, Canterbury, Aldeburgh and now here at our clinic in Oakington. She is an active member of the British Printing Society.
